Details

You need something to attach those cables to. The Finisar FTRJ1319F1GTL has a small form factor (SFF) footprint and a single 3.3 volt power supply. Finisar FTRJ1319F1GTL SFFs have a duplex LC connector and 1310nm laser transmitter that can transmit data up to 10km. (kilometers) This is a 2GBs SFF and is backward compatible to 1000Base-LX Ethernet and 1GBs fiber channel.

An open SFF port in a compatible product is required to install the Finisar FTRJ1319F1GTL 2GBs long wave LC SFF.
